Message from the Director

This has been an exciting year! There have been ongoing changes at ASU, including the formation of The Center for Faculty Excellence. The opportunity to serve as the first Director of this endeavor is an honor and provides a special way to support the ASU faculty. Our faculty represents a diverse group of talented, life-long learners. This group of teacher-scholars have personal and professional goals that are as diverse as the group itself. To meet those diverse needs will be an on-going challenge for The Center, but one we are ready to embrace. The diversity also provides the framework for practicing innovative teaching strategies in a risk-free environment. As professional learning opportunities are planned for each academic year, the goal will always focus on supporting faculty development.
