The ASU Police Department welcomes you to the campus. We hope you will have great success here as a member of the ASU family. It is this department's pledge to make your stay as rewarding and productive as possible.
The department is located on the East side of campus in the Central Energy Plant. Our officers are responsible for providing a safe environment, protecting personal and state property, parking enforcement, and the enforcement of all university rules and regulations as well as local and state laws. Officers patrol the campus on foot, bicycle and in marked patrol vehicles. Crimes occurring off campus should be reported to the Albany Police Department by calling 911.
The ASU Police Department is a member of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, The National Association of Black Law Enforcement Executives and The Georgia Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.
