Albany State to host golf event in June
     Some of the area's finest golfers are set to 'tee off' for the Seventh Annual Golden Rams Golf Outing on Friday, June 5, at the Flint River Golf Course in Albany, Ga.     
     The event, which will start at 8 a.m., is held annually to benefit Albany State University (ASU) football program, according to head football coach Mike White.
     The entryfee is $200 per team and can be paid during registration, which starts at 7 a.m. The entry fee includes green fees, cart and lunch. Interested golfers may enter individually and be assigned to a team or register with a four-member team. Hole sponsorships are $250 per hole.
