Welcome
Welcome to the web site for the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Advising (CETLA) at Albany State University. CETLA is responsible for providing support that will enhance the scholarship of teaching and learning in the academic community of the university. Our efforts are aimed at providing programs and activities to ensure students success in achieving academic goals during their matriculation at ASU and to support and assist faculty as they prepare to meet the various needs of the students they teach. The Center serves as a resource for both students and faculty as these two distinct groups interact to form the academic community.

The Center is comprised of four components which are housed in different locations on the campus. The components include a Retention Unit, a Developmental Studies - Learning Support Unit, an Academic Advisement Center, and the Regents’ Testing Program. All components work harmoniously to support and promote academic excellence at Albany State University.
