And if you are continuing your education through one of our Masters programs, you have an equally phenomenal experience awaiting you.  At Albany State University, our brand is "potential realized," and we look forward to facilitating you toward realizing your potential for excellence in your major.

You are beginning your journey in your chosen profession or moving toward an advanced degree.   For those of you in school for the first time, this is the initial stop on a trip with many possible destinations. Those of you continuing your education know that this is one of many new stops on your ongoing journey.

You may end your journey as a staff nurse in an emergency room, a scientist or engineer, a CEO in your own business or clinic, a faculty in a school or university, or as a Dean in a College of Sciences and Health Professions.  We are delighted you have chosen Albany State University College of Sciences and Health Professions to help you on this journey.

As a student at this university, you will be challenged to devote your time and energies to reading, studying hard and preparing well so that you can provide the best possible service for your clients and become the best professional you can be. Our programs provide the curriculum and experiences needed to launch you on your chosen career.  We, the faculty, are here to guide you through the program toward success.
