Then be sure to enter the FAFSA Contest by completing the information below.

The Rules are Simple!!!

1. You must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2008-2009 application year at www.fafsa.ed.gov. For more information on completing your FAFSA Online CLICK HERE.
2. You must be currently enrolled.
3. You must attend the Fall 2008 Semester
4. You must list Albany State University as one of the Institutions on your FAFSA. 
    (ASU SCHOOL CODE IS 001544).

The Office of Financial Aid will verify the date of submission and processing of your FAFSA online. Once your information has been verified, we will enter your RAMID in the contest. 

There will be 4 (four) drawings, one for each of the following months:

January
February 
March
April (through April 15, 2008)

Winners will be chosen by a member of the Student Government Association (SGA) and will be announced by April 28, 2008. Funds will be applied to your account in August 2008 for the Fall 2008 Semester.

After you have completed your application online make sure that you take note of your EFC number that is displayed on the confirmation page after you SUBMITTED your FAFSA and also the date the application was SUBMITTED.

If you processed your FAFSA by mailing in the paper application, please list the date that you received your Processed Application in the mail from the Deparment of Education. Please make note of your processed EFC number and be sure to enter that information below.
