The Office of Information & Instructional Technology is responsible for the support of academic computing, desktop management, server management, administrative applications, institutional data communications and networking. IT provides support and assistance to university faculty, staff and students.
Dr. Everette Freeman, ASU's eigth president, set the goal for the Office to provide state of the art technology for the campus. As such, responsibilities for ASU-OIIT have been redefined to include,
