Welcome to the website for the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) at Albany State University. The office was created in 2005 to enhance the university's research and scholarship potential. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) through the Extramural Associates Program has partnered with the university to provide resources to help in its establishment.

Serving as a clearinghouse for all externally funded contracts and proposals, we provide a range of services including identification of funding sources, proposal development and submission, and program-related budget development. We also ensure accountability and compliance with applicable federal, state, and university policies and regulations.
