The ASU Internal Audit Department is charged with providing independent, objective assurance and audit consulting services.  In addition, we seek to promote accountability and add value to operational units as well as provide ideas to improve efficiency.  This is accomplished by objective audits, reviews and analysis of ASU activities.

We utilize best practices to execute appropriate risk management, internal control, and governance practices.  We recognize that operational units, academic units, and the ASU community are responsible for strong internal controls within their own organizations.  We facilitate these control efforts by working proactively within all levels of the University to drive results for improved controls.
