April 15	Deadline to apply for Graduation for students completing all requirements at the end of Summer 2008
May 10, 11 & 12	Residence halls open 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.
May 12 -13	Registration and payment of fees
May 14	Classes begin. Registration for Tuition Assistance Program Applicants
May 14, 15	Registration, drop/add and payment of fees (late fees may apply).    Courses cannot be added after May 15.  No refund will be made for courses voluntarily dropped after May 15.  (This does not apply to withdrawals from school).  All fees must be paid by May 16.
May 16	Final payment of fees by 4:30 p.m. Late fee will apply.
May 26	Memorial Day Observed
June 4	Clearance deadline for students completing all requirements at the end of Summer 2008
June 5	Last day to drop a course and withdraw from school with a grade of “W” by 5:00 p.m.
June 18	Deadline to pay graduation fees for students completing all requirements at the end of Summer 2008
June 19-21	New Student Orientation.
June 20	Registration for Fall 2008 for New Students ONLY
June 21 - 25	Regents’ Test
June 30	Deadline to remove “I” and “IP” grades before automatic “F”
July 2	Deadline for Admission and Readmission for Fall Semester 2008
July 2	Deadline to apply for graduation for Fall Semester 2008
July 2	Classes end and Final Examinations for Summer 2008
July 3	Grades due in Banner Web by 3:00 p.m.
July 3	Check-out of Residence Halls by 3:00 p.m.  Improper check-out fines begin after 3:00 p.m. without prior approval.
July 4	Independence Day Observed

Session 1 (June Session)	May 24 to June 20
Session 2 (July Session)	June 21 to July 18
September 15	Graduation Celebration. Reese Student Union Building, 12 noon-5:00 p.m.:  Order cap and gown for commencement (Required for commencement participation). Order graduation announcements and accessories.  Representatives available from various campus departments to handle numerous graduation details
September 16	Graduation Celebration continues, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
