Global Programs Advisory Committee (GPAC)

The advisory committee will assist the Director in initiating strategies for successfully implementing the goals and objectives of the department. The members will meet monthly, or as necessary, to strategize and deliberate on the annual activities of the department. They will advise and assist the Director in promoting global initiatives such as:

  • Study Abroad and Exchange Programs
  • International Students and Scholars
  • ASU International Affairs and Outreach, including collaboration with national and international institutions and alumni on international education and global initiatives
  • Fundraising at national and international levels for advancement of international education, including study abroad.
  • Grants sourcing for International Education and Study Abroad
  • All other such programs that project Albany State University and its mission
