Faculty Workshop - Creating Assessments

Prerequisite: Previously attended group or one-on-one WebCT training sessions

Course Objectives

At the end of this workshop, faculty should be able to

• Distinguish between quizzes, self-tests, and surveys
• Create assessments using publisher testbanks, Respondus©, or manual entry
• Understand alternative uses for the Assessments tool
• Create exams that minimize cheating
• Define and edit assessment settings
• Identify the appropriate location for the assessment link
