Faculty Frequently Asked Questions
Use one of the options below to access the appropriate password reset:
A. Your user ID for Banner is your RAM ID number (ex: 900######)
A. The default pin is set to your birthday in a MMDDYY format.
A. From the Banner Web login screen, select the Retrieve ID button. You will be directed to a screen to input additional information. Be sure to enter the name the institution has on record for you.
A. From the Banner Web login screen, type in your user ID and select the Forgot PIN button. You will be directed to a screen to answer your security question. You will then be asked to enter a new PIN for future access.
A. From the Banner Web homepage, select Schedule of Classes.
A. Once you log into your Banner Web account, locate your Course Schedule and notate the start date and end date of the course.
A. Once you log into your Banner Web account, locate the Personal Information Tab. You will be directed to a screen with the Personal Information Menu. Once here you will be able to change your PIN, change your security question, update your address(es) and Phone(s), update email address(es), update emergency contact information, view name change information and so forth.
A. Once you log into your Banner Web account, click on the “Faculty Services” tab. Select “Attendance Verification”. Select the appropriate term. Select the CRN of the course. Checkmark the “add” box next to the students’ names for non-attendance in the course. Click “Continue” and then click “Submit”.
A. You may access your faculty/staff email account by accessing Microsoft Outlook on your ASU computer or you may access it via the ASU website. Once you are on the ASU website: http://www.asurams.edu you may click on Quick Links in the top right corner and then click on Faculty email under Faculty/Staff Tools.
A. You may contact the Helpdesk at (229) 430-4909. You may also visit us on the first floor of the James Pendergrast Memorial Library.
A. Your complete faculty/staff email address is your network ID and the default password is P@ssword!2. You will be prompted to change this password upon your initial logon.

A. From the Albany State University homepage, select Help in the top right corner and drop down to select Password Reset. Once on the site you must register your account in order to reset your password. You may also click the image below to access the password management portal.
A. Your password must be at least 10 characters in length including 2 of the following: a capital letter, a number or a symbol.
A. The Network ID provides access to the myASU Portal, campus computers, wireless, Faculty/Staff email and GeorgiaView D2L.
A. The Password Management Portal offers the ability to reset the Network ID password when needed. Users are able to register for an account using the current and active Network ID credentials. Upon successful login, users can click on the Enrollment tab to register two security questions and after successful setup of enrollment, users may utilize the Reset Password link on the main Password Management Portal page whether they are on campus or off campus.
A. DegreeWorks is a web-based tool used to help students and advisors monitor progress toward degree completion. DegreeWorks looks at the degree requirements of the ASU catalog and the coursework completed by produce an easy-to-read audit. The audit is divided into block requirements of how courses taken or proposed count toward degree requirements. DegreeWorks is used as an advisement tool.
A. You may access DegreeWorks by logging into Banner Web with your RAM ID and password. Upon logging into Banner you will see the link for DegreeWorks on the Main Menu.
