Welcome to the Darton College of Health Professions at Albany State University, where our mission is to meet the diverse needs of our students, to prepare students for leadership in the health professions, and to encourage partnerships and teamwork as our students pursue education, service, and scholarship. The College has a rich history of providing diverse and comprehensive curricula, which support the healthcare learning needs of our students by offering certificate, associate, undergraduate, and graduate level degrees. Our graduates go on to become regional and national leaders in a variety of jobs afforded to them after the successful completion of one or more of our dynamic programs.
The Darton College of Health Professions is made up of highly qualified faculty who demonstrate a commitment and passion for teaching and their profession. Our faculty is made up of experienced individuals, as well as licensed clinicians who are leaders in their fields.
The Darton College of Health Professions is comprised of three departments with each housing the following degrees: Health Sciences Division, Nursing Division, and Health & Human Performance Division
