A transfer student is a student who has earned at least 30 transferable semester hours (45 transferable quarter hours) from a previous institution. Minimum transfer GPA is 2.0

Freshman Transfer

A freshman transfer is a student who has earned less than 30 transferable semester hours (45 transferable quarter hours) from a previous institution. Freshman Transfer students must meet the new freshman admissions requirements.

Non-Traditional Transfer

A non-traditional transfer student is a student that has been out of high school at least five years and has earned at least 30 transferable semester hours (45 transferable quarter hours) from a previous institution. Minimum transfer GPA is 2.0

Non-Traditional Freshman Transfer

A non-traditional freshman transfer student is a student that has been out of high school at least five years who has earned less than 30 transferable hours. Minimum transfer GPA is 2.0 Additional testing may be required. Admission to the University does not guarantee admission to a specific college or department. Certain programs have additional admission requirements which must be met before a student can begin taking upper level classes in their degree program. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the appropriate academic department for additional admission requirements upon acceptance to the University granted by the Office of Admissions.
