Fall Professional Development Institute and Etiquette Dinner and Networking Event @ Student Center at Radium Springs Road Campus

Students attending the Office of Career Services  Fall Professional Development Institute and Etiquette Dinner and Networking Event will interact  with employers, participate in mock interviews, learn business trends and enjoy dinner in a professional environment.

The event prepares juniors and seniors for success when interacting with business executives. Attendees will practice social skills in networking with professions and receive immediate feedback on their interviewing skills in mock interviews.

Students will also participate in round table discussions, learn business trends, understand success factors for selection for open positions and participate in mock interviews with recruiters and industry professionals.

Professional dress is required for each event. Interested students must register to attend. Sign up for mock interviews in Career Services by September 14, 2018. Register to attend the Etiquette dinner by September 14.

ASU Theatre Ensemble presents No Child… by Nilaja Sun . @ ASU Theatre at Gillionville Road Campus

The play follows Miss Sun, a New York teaching artist entering into one of the toughest classrooms in The Bronx. Miss Sun is attempting to perform a production of Timberlake Wertenbaker’s play Our Country’s Good with some of the “worst” students in Malcolm X High School.  Originally written and performed as a one woman show, the playwright has added unlimited flexibility with casting and this particular production will be done with six actors portraying 16 characters! No Child… is an insightful, hilarious and touching master class not to be missed by anyone who is concerned about the state of our education system and how we might fix it. * The show contains adult language*
