Peer Tutors





The Peer Tutors Program is designed to provide additional support to students experiencing deficiencies in the following core areas:

  • College Algebra
  • Biology
  • English
  • Calculus
  • Computer Science
  • Chemistry
  • History
  • Accounting
  • Nursing
  • Foreign Languages
  • And more!

Students selected as peer tutors must meet the following requirements:

  • Complete an application.
  • Submit at least three recommendations from faculty.
  • Maintain a cumulative 3.0 or higher GPA.
  • Earn a 3.5 GPA in subject area of tutoring.

Peer tutors interact with fellow students, faculty and staff. Tutors gain valuable work experience while attending college. Flexible work schedules (up to 19 hours per week) are designed around the students' class schedules. Tutors may not work during scheduled class times.
