How do I navigate the "New" ASU website as a student?

The Students tab on the top menu of the website will provide you with links and access to various student resources.

Do I need a new ID number?

  • Everyone – students and employees – will be issued a new ID number and ID card for Fall 2017, regardless of what campus was previously attended.
  • To find your new RamID number, please visit: https://idlookup.asurams.edu/

When will I receive my new ID card?

Your new ID cards will be used beginning in the Fall 2017 semester. The cards will be distributed before the semester begins.

How can I receive my new ID card?

  • Resident student IDs will be provided at move-in.
  • For all others, further information about where to pick up your new ID card will be available before the semester begins. Please watch your email for details. Information will also be available on this page soon.

How do I log in to campus computer systems?

To locate your username, please visit: https://idlookup.asurams.edu/

To establish a password:

  1. Use the Password Management Portal
    • The default temporary password will include your date of birth and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number in the format P@ssmmddyynnnn.
    • Here, mmddyy is your date of birth and nnnn is the last four digits of your SSN
    • For example, if your birth date is March 15th, 2001 and your Social Security Number is 123-45-6789, your temporary password is P@ss0315016789


To change your password from the initial password described above:

  1. Log in to https://outlook.office365.com with your email address (ex. username@students.asurams.edu) and your password described above.
  2. Once logged in click the gear symbol in the top right corner of the webpage.
  3. Click “Office 365” from the menu.
  4. Click “Security & Privacy”
  5. Click “Password” in the center of the webpage.
  6. Enter your existing password then create your new password and click “Submit”

What will be my new Faculty/ Staff & Student email address?

  1. Before you can log in to your email account, you must change/set up your password using the Password Management Portal

How will I be affected by the consolidation?

  • Beginning Fall 2017
    • Services such as copy/print will be available on both campuses using one ID card
    • You’ll get a new ID number, and a new ID card
    • If you had a darton.edu email address, you’ll be getting a new asurams.edu address.

How do I order my transcripts?

How do I access my GeorgiaVIEW / Online Classes?

  1. You must have previously logged into your ASU Student email account. Instructions for accessing your student email account can be found at https://www.asurams.edu/Academics/asuonline/links/password-help/
  2. After accessing your ASURAMS student email account (e.g. jdoe24@students.asurams.edu), you can proceed with accessing your GeorgiaVIEW account. The new Online Courses (GeorgiaVIEW) / Distance Learning Login Page is https://www.asurams.edu/Academics/asuonline/wp-content/login/. This link can also be found on the Students web page https://www.asurams.edu/students-page/.
  3. Upon accessing the GeorgiaVIEW login page, you will use your email account username, such as jdoe24 (if your email address is jdoe24@students.asurams.edu) and use the same password you use to access your email account.
