Meet Our Student Leaders

Name

Biography

Cleoris Graham

Mr. Cleotis Graham

I am a Freshman Mass Communication major from Albany, Georgia with the aspiration of becoming an actor.  I chose this career path because I want to be of service to people through entertainment.

My mission statements are “Be the change you want to see” and “I am only here to serve.”  COMPASS has helped me to shape my talents and use them to embrace my true self and help others in the process. I would definitely recommend COMPASS for other students because everyone in this program has been through difficult circumstance. COMPASS will help you to be able to embrace who you are and not hide anymore.

Amari Jones

Ms. Amari Jones

I am from the Good Life City of Albany, Georgia majoring in Health and Human Performance in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

I Graduated from Westover Comprehensive High School with honors in May of 2021 while obtaining my Associate of Applied Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in April of 2021 from Albany Technical College at the age of 17.  I worked to receive certifications in CPR and First Aid, Nursing Aide, and Healthcare Office Assistant. I chose this career path because early on I found a passion and love for helping others while wanting to change lives in the process. I chose to be a part of COMPASS because this program is committed to making students the best version of themselves.

Carmail Cooper

Ms. Carmail Cooper

I am a rising senior Social Work major from Columbia, South Carolina. My mission is to uplift, inspire, and share God's love with those around me.

I chose Compass because I wanted to share my story to encourage other students and let them know that COMPASS will help you regardless of your situation. COMPASS provided me that extra help I needed my sophomore year. While navigating college the program has taught me how to manage real-life experiences. Without the COMPASS Program, I would not have been able to take the necessary steps to become a success story. Therefore, I recommend this program so students can embrace their stories and not let their circumstances define their future.
