Reigniting the Flame: ASU Homecoming 2025 Access & Safety Update
It’s more than a tradition—it’s a homecoming.
This October, Albany State University invites you to join us in “Reigniting the Flame” at Albany State University’s 2025 Homecoming Celebration! This year’s theme reflects not just our return to tradition—but a bold step forward
in unity, pride, and community. From alumni reunions to student celebrations, the
parade to the big game—#ASUHC25 will be a week you won’t want to miss.
As we prepare for a week of powerful connections and celebration, we’re extending a special and heartfelt invitation to all Albany State University alumni, as well as alumni representing the legacy of Darton State College. Since the 2015 consolidation, we’ve been building one powerful institution—and it’s time to celebrate that legacy together.
Mark your calendars: Homecoming Week kicks off Sunday, October 12, and culminates on Saturday, October 18, with our beloved Homecoming Parade and Football Game!
This year, we’re facing off against Tuskegee University, and we’ve got an important update. The Homecoming Game will begin at 1:00 PM (not 2:00 PM as in previous years), as it will be streamed live on HBCU GO.
More details about the full Homecoming schedule, hotel accommodations, and special alumni events are coming soon.
In the meantime, get your blue and gold ready—and spread the word. We’re “Reigniting the Flame,” and it won’t be the same without you.
