Our Mission
Albany State University Information Technology Services (ITS) exists to remove barriers to learning and work by delivering secure, reliable, and equitable technology that empowers students, faculty, and staff to succeed. We modernize infrastructure, steward resources responsibly, and partner across the university to ensure technology is an enabler of access, innovation, and student achievement, not an obstacle.
Our Values
We achieve our ITS mission through the following goals:
- Continual improvement and alignment of our services to the evolving needs of our campus
- Deliver technology, information and services that support teaching in and beyond the classroom
- Provide leadership and planning for the effective and strategic use of emerging technologies
- Provide students with technology services that enrich their overall student experience, foster retention and increase graduation rates
- Cultivate the effectiveness of University business operations through technology solutions and processes that align with campus priorities and strategic initiatives
- Relentlessly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the University’s data
