Hacking the Tech Industry

March 3 - 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

How do you get a tech education and turn that into a tech career? Representatives of major tech companies like Amazon,
Microsoft and Netflix have come together to create this unique panel conversation to break down barriers and help move the
tech industry toward true inclusion. In this session, industry professionals will discuss how anyone from CS majors to code school grads to self-taught folks can network, find mentors and grow their careers. They will also share about their experiences as underrepresented people in tech, along with proven strategies to finding mentors, building a resume, networking with others
in the industry, and becoming a better technologist.
