25th Annual Southeast Regional Model African Union (SEMAU) Conference

ASU Hosts the 25th Southeast Model African Union (SEMAU) Conference
November 9 - 12, 2022
Institutions of Higher Education in Georgia and beyond are invited to join the 25th
                                 SEMAU academic exercise, which promotes global learning. The Conference is organized
                                 by Albany State University (ASU) in collaboration with the University System of Georgia
                                 African Council (USAC). 
It is an internationalization model, which brings the learning of Africa as close
                                 to the students as possible. Students and their faculty advisors, from various institutions
                                 of higher education in the University System of Georgia and beyond, attend the conference
                                 annually to simulate the activities of Heads of State of the African Union (AU) representing
                                 55 countries of Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia-the headquarters of the African Union.
