B-Term Launch: Concourse Syllabus Management System
Greetings Faculty!
ASU has purchased Concourse - a new Syllabus management system that integrates into GeorgiaVIEW. This new system receives course data from our BANNER system and will pre-populate sections of syllabi with information such as the course description and program objectives. Additional information such as University Policies will also be pre-populated for you, so you do not have to worry about having the newest version of a policy in your syllabi!
We are rolling out Concourse in three phases:
- Full-Term Fall 2021 – Pilot Test with pre-selected courses Already Live!
- B-Term Fall 2021 – All B-Term Courses
- Spring 2022 – Full Roll-out for all courses
Fall 2021 B-Term faculty have the unique opportunity to learn the system, test it out, and provide suggestions before the full launch in Spring 2022!
So, what’s next?
Please complete the following self-paced course so that you are comfortable with Concourse:
Concourse for Instructors (Training)
The training won’t take too much of your time, and it’s broken down into sections, so you don’t have to complete it all in one setting. We ask that B-Term Faculty complete the training no later than September 10, 2021.
We will be sending out follow-up communications about additional in-house training and/or help-sessions, as well as how to access your Concourse Syllabi once you complete the training.
We really hope you enjoy using this new product as much as Dr. Dorea Hardy enjoys it … we can’t get her to stop telling everyone about it!
