ACM-Student Chapter

Mission Statement

Albany State University’s Association for Computing Machinery’s Student Chapter mission is to increase awareness in the field of Technology and Mathematics, focusing on the latest developments and their applications, as well as, career options for our upcoming graduates. Our chapter aims to create an environment in which students can be creative, innovative, and marketable in their prospective areas.

The goals of our organization are focused on the stability, growth, and success of our chapter members. In an effort to promote all these things we strive to keep our members active not only in our local community but engaged with conferences statewide.

Our semester activities include:

• Attending Computer Science Conferences
• Attending/Hosting various workshops
• Volunteering
