Dear New Student,

Welcome to the "Unsinkable" Albany State University (ASU)!  We recognize and value your decision to attend ASU.  Whether the decision was based on our nationally recognized academic programs, or vibrant campus life, our proud athletic tradition, our rich legacy in this region, or your connection with members of our illustrious alumni, we are honored that you have decided to become a part of the "RAMily."  Please see below the steps to start your orientation experience.

STEP 1

      • You are required to submit a photo for approval for your Ram ID. Please submit basic headshots (no selfies, please) against solid backgrounds.

      • Students attending New Student Orientation will receive their Ram IDs during orientation check in. Please note that only students registered for classes will receive a Ram ID card.

      • Please check your ASU email after October 15 for an email request from your newly assigned academic advisor to schedule your advising appointment.

      • Along with submitting your immunization requirements, your final high school transcript, and a picture of your driver's license to admissions@asurams.edu, this requirement is critical for a smooth onboarding process.
