Housing Application Process

ATTENTION: Residential students who have not paid in full or do not have a payment plan in place with the University by July 10, 2026, will be dropped from campus housing.

Housing Application Timeline for Fall 2026 - Spring 2027  

As we continue striving to enhance the student experience at ASU, the Office of Housing and Residence Life is excited to introduce a new housing booking process for the upcoming academic year. All bookings will be prioritized based on your current cumalative GPA.  Please ensure that you are registered 24 hours prior to submitting an application. A non-refundable application fee of $100 is due at the time of the application.

Housing is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, using our GPA tiered system. To secure your preferred housing option, students are strongly encouraged to prioritize their studies and maintain strong academic performance. Please be advised that Housing is on a first come first served basis. Housing is NOT guarenteed. 

Please see schedule of the Priority Housing Booking Schedule (by using your ASU Cumulative GPA):

• March 23rd - 24th: Scholars with a current GPA of 3.5 - 4.0
• March 25th & 26th: Scholars with a current GPA of 3.0 - 3.49
• March 30th - 31st: Scholars with a current GPA of 2.5 - 2.99
• April 1st & 2rd: Scholars with a current GPA of 2.0 - 2.49
• April 8th: General housing booking opens for all remaining ASU students and transfers
• May 4th:  Housing opens for all incoming new freshmen

Application selection: Select the term for which you are applying for housing. 

Housing Agreement: Read the contract thoroughly and entirely before accepting. 

Payment: Pay Online with a credit or debit card. 

Confirmation: Print the last page of the agreement for your records. It contains your payment receipt.

Selecting a Room

Step 1: Get your room selection start time	Click here to log into MyHousing to review your room selection start time.
Step 2: Navigate to select your room	Choose the Room Selection option. Then navigate to the Select a Room/Suite tab.
Step 3: View room options	Select the Find Available Rooms option to view open rooms.
Step 4: Select your room	Choose the Room option to make a selection.

 

March 23^rd -24^tH: Cumalative gpa of 3.5 - 4.0 

All students who has a cumulative GPA of 3.5 - 4.0 can access the portal and select a room assignment. To access the Housing Portal click here. 

MArch 25^th -26^th: Cumalative gpa of 3.0 - 3.49

All students who has a cumulative GPA of3.0 -3.49 can access the portal and select a room assignment. To access the Housing Portal click here. 

MArch 30^th - 31^st : Cumalative gpa of 2.5 - 2.99 

All students who has a cumulative GPA of 2.5 -2.99 can access the portal and select a room assignment. To access the Housing Portal click here. 

 April 1^st- April 2^nd: Cumalative gpa of 2.0 - 2.49

April 7^th: General Housing booking opens for all remaining asu students and transfers
