Student Maintenance Requests

To have a repair made in your room, please follow the steps below to submit a work order.

  • Submitting a Work Order

    1. Scan the QR Code

      • Locate the QR code on the back of your unit door or in your building lobby.

      • If your unit does not have a QR code, contact a member of your Hall Staff to receive one.

    2. Access the Resident Portal

      • Click the menu button (three bars in the gray box above "Welcome").

      • Select “Submit Service Request.”

    3. Complete the Work Order Form

      • Choose Albany State University.

      • Select your building (example: Hall 4).

      • Identify the location using the drop-down menus:

        • Floor/Area

        • East (odd) or West Corridor (even)

        • Room number needing repair

      • Enter the student information requested.

      • Select the problem you are reporting (only one issue per work order).

      • Provide a detailed description of the issue.

      • Upload photos to support your description.

    4. Submit & Track

      • Submit your request.

      • Record the Work Order ID number provided.

      • Check your email for updates on your request.


    Emergencies

    • During business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM): Contact your Residential Director or RA for immediate assistance.

    • After hours (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM): Call 229-809-4690 to reach the on-call staff member.


    Additional Information

    • Students will receive email notifications with updates on their work orders.

    • Most repairs are completed within 24 hours.
