Post-Licensure (RN) Programs
Albany State University proudly offers the wholly online RN-to-BSN completion program, designed for students and working professionals who have already
attained an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) and have subsequently earned
their licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) but who ultimately desire to earn their
Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Please click on the button below to be directed to
its respective page.
Please contact the Department of Nursing's Graduate Nursing Programs Director at (229) 500-2323 for information and/or program updates regarding the current status of the RN-to-MSN FNP and RN-to-MSN NE completion programs. Similar to the RN-to-BSN program, these programs are designed
for students and working professionals who have already attained an Associate Degree
in Nursing (ADN/ASN) and have subsequently earned their licensure as a Registered
Nurse (RN) but who ultimately desire to earn their Master of Science in Nursing as
either a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Nurse Educator (NE). As a consequence
of this program’s design, students bypass earning their baccalaureate degree in favor
of entering the master’s-level curriculum at an accelerated pace.
