Vision
Founded in 2015, Achieve Atlanta’s vision is that Atlanta is a city where race and
income no longer predict postsecondary success and upward mobility.
Mission
To help Atlanta Public Schools students access, afford, and earn postsecondary credentials.
Achieve Atlanta’s Focus Areas
College Access
- Provide APS seniors with hands-on assistance to complete the necessary steps to enroll in college
- Build a sustainable college-going culture
Achieve Atlanta Scholarship
- Provide need-based college scholarships to seniors with at least a 2.0 GPA and finish the last two years in APS
- $5,000/year for bachelor’s programs
- $1,500/year for associate’s/technical programs
College Success
- Connect students with the academic and social support they need to finish their degree
- Build the capacity of postsecondary institutions to offer direct support and advising
Achieve Atlanta Scholars Enrolled at Albany State University, since 2016, 365 Achieve Atlanta Scholars have enrolled at ASU, with the highest count in Fall 2018.
