ATI TEAS Testing & Information


The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS V) from ATI is a multiple-choice assessment measuring basic academic preparedness in reading, math, science, English, and language usage. The objectives assessed in the test are those that Health Science educators deem most relevant for measuring entry level skills and abilities of program applicants.
The TEAS V exam is an important factor in the competitive selection process for Radiologic Science program applicants. There is no minimum set score that is acceptable before submitting an application for the selection process.
To register for the TEAS test for ASU’s Radiologic Science Program, follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to the ATI website: https://atitesting.com/teas
  2. Listed under TEAS Review Products, you will see the option to “Register for the TEAS V Test.” The direct link to register is http://www.atitesting.com/ati_next_gen/customecom/SessionTypeSelection.aspx?stf=1
  3. Complete the boxes as follows:
    1. Program Type: TEAS for Allied Health
    2. Country: USA
    3. State: Georgia
    4. City: Albany
  4. Select a date for testing.

TEAS FAQS

Can I take the TEAS more than once?
You may take the TEAS no more than two times for the RADS program, and there must be a minimum of 6 weeks between attempts. The program will use the score that provides the applicant the highest rating.
When is the TEAS offered?
Multiple TEAS dates are offered monthly. Details regarding location, dates/times, etc., may be found on the ATI website.
Do I have to take the TEAS at Albany State University?
No, if the TEAS was not taken on an ASU campus, applicants must arrange to have official TEAS scores sent by atitesting.com to ASU, as well as include an unofficial copy with the program application.
What is the deadline for the TEAS results?
The TEAS results must be included in the application packet which is due by November 1.
What is the minimum score required for program applicants?
The minimum TEAS score for RADS program eligibility is 50. However, since the program utilizes competitive admissions, applicants are encouraged to score as high as possible to be more competitive with other applicants.
Is there a cost for the TEAS?
Yes. Currently the fee is approximately $80 and is paid by the student when registering online to take the test.
