Tine Jones, Director
kristine.jones@asurams.edu | 229.500.2887
I was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. I obtained my
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from
Darton State College and my Bachelor’s Degree in
Communications with a Concentration in Organizational
Studies from Kennesaw State University. I began my
career in higher education in 2014 in Human Resources
at Darton State College and moved to Auxiliary Services
in 2017. I held multiple positions during this
time, but in August 2021, I began serving ASU as the
Director of Auxiliary Services. I am married with two
exceptional children. My childhood was all about dancing.
I took tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, and lyrical from age five
through college. Dancing is a passion that allows
expression in the most raw and heartfelt way.
Dance will always have a special place in my heart. My
hobbies include spending time with my family, the beach,
church, friends, and traveling.
My professional goal is to impact and inspire those around me
while leading with kindness. I look forward to strengthening
efforts and connecting with students, faculty, and staff, pushing
innovative barriers, and truly seeing our department thrive.
We must unite, uphold civility, and be resilient to
achieve our goals.
“We are defined by how we treat each other.” – Shola Richards
“Civility is a demonstration of respect.” – Shola Richards
“Kindness is always free.” - Me

Shannon Carter, Business & Operations Coordinator
shannon.carter@asurams.edu | 229.500.2886
I am a proud graduate of Cairo High School and have been
blessed to serve in my current position since July 2022.
Before joining Auxiliary Services at ASU, I spent more than
17 years serving as a Site Manager for a business.
I am grateful for the opportunity to change careers and
begin a new chapter serving the ASU community.
Family is very important to me. I am the proud mother of
two ambitious sons and two beautiful daughters-in-law,
and I especially enjoy spending time with my grandchildren
and extended family. Outside of work, I enjoy camping,
saltwater fishing, sewing, and crafts.
My faith is also an important part of my life,
and I love serving at my church and spending
time with family and friends. I truly enjoy helping
others, meeting new people, and building relationships.
One of the most rewarding parts of my position is
having the opportunity to interact with andsupport
the students, faculty, and staff at ASU.
I am thankful for every opportunity to serve,
connect with others, and make a positive
difference in the lives of those around me.
