The High Impact Program (HIP), designed and implemented by the ASU Honors Program, allows college mentors to assist high school students by answering academic questions and serving as trusted advisors.

ALBANY, Ga. – Albany State University honor students are serving as mentors to 32 Mitchell County High School students. The High Impact Program (HIP), designed and implemented by the ASU Honors Program, allows college mentors to assist high school students by answering academic questions and serving as trusted advisors.

Since January, HIP participants have meet once a month around a specific theme. February’s session focused on study skills and how to prepare for midterm exams. The March session will emphasis career readiness.

The sessions are facilitated by the Office of Career Services.
